Scouting local record stores is one of the first matters of business Fiona attends to her first month in town. She's pleasantly surprised to find that Siren Cove boasts a couple in the age of digital everything. Not that she doesn't love her iPod; she'd be lost without it for company, but she also still listens to CDs and vinyl. She's a fossil like that. Grinning as she makes her way into a place close to the Quill, which is perfect, because she needs her chai latte fix, she glances around the store, taking in the numerous records, CDs, memorabilia - well, everything, that they have in stock.
"Far out," she says, her grin widening as she makes her way over to a Joni Mitchell record. She bounces on her feet, skirt billowing out slightly around her; she feels cute and adorable today, and, truthfully, she thinks, as she peruses records, she kind of hopes someone will notice. What's the point of moving to a new town if she can't meet cute people, anyway?
